The philosophy of basketball at Knight Hoops is based on the premise that all players, coaches, and parents are dedicated to the contribution that they can make to the TEAM!
If we are to be successful, we must excel in the TEAM aspects of the game. We must:
Be more committed than our opponents!
Be more disciplined than our opponents!
Be tougher than our opponents!
Be willing to sacrifice personal glory for the good of the TEAM!
We must also possess a self-discipline and a TEAM discipline based on mutual respect for one another, that will enable us to get the maximum TEAM performance at all times.
The coaching staff cares about and desires to help each player, but will never sacrifice what is best for the TEAM for what is best for the individual. Your commitment to play is a commitment to all those individuals that make up the Knight Hoops Family.
Remember, we must discipline ourselves and sacrifice things we may want individually for the overall good of the TEAM!
We must believe that everything we do to make us a better TEAM will be worth it.
